Wrapping Up Christmas

I know I am a day late, but I wanted to post a few pictures of our Christmas decorations. My husband and I celebrated our first, Nashville, Christmas together as a married couple.
We decided to put up a few different Christmas trees around the house. We have this little guy in our family room. We recently rearranged this room and didn't take into account where we would put our regular sized Christmas tree. Our regular sized Christmas tree went near our front door, in our dining room. We kept our plantation shutters open throughout the season and the big tree looks amazing from the front of our house, especially at night when it is all lit up!

Ready to indulge in our Christmas dinner!  I absolutely love the look of clean, white decor, dishes, linens, well pretty much everything white.  :) For our wedding, we registered for dishes and silverware from Pottery Barn. We ended up receiving everything we registered for from Pottery Barn and more! It is a great feeling when the table is set and everything is coordinating and matching. :)

An amazing purchase within the last year has been the IKEA LIATORP Extendable table!! That is the table shown above, with the extendable leaf put in to increase table space. My husband and I have yet to fully furnish our formal dining room. But we purchased this table, when we moved in, for our kitchen area. IKEA has such great prices and this table has been wonderful!! Without a formal dining table, when we have guests, we pop in the extendable leaf to allow more room. With just the two of us for the majority of the time, we do not need the extendable leaf and all of the extra pieces fit right into the center of the table.

Below is my recent garage sale find/DIY project. (See future posts to see before and after pics).

Our mantle with a few Hobby Lobby black/white chevron finds.
